Label TextThis object would usually be termed a "trick drinking glass." The contents could be drained from the bowl through one of the spouts (if the openings on the other two were shut). The glass was intended to be a fountain; when liquid poured into the bowl reached the height at the top of the loop, the bowl would begin to drain by siphon action until it reached the bottom. The liquid jets out of the spouts.
