Label TextHas an octagonal panel containing an encased enameled gold foil medal of the order of the Croix de Saint-Louis depicted as a red ribbon with gold zig-zag lines, a gold loop, and a four armed, white, Maltese cross with tiny gold fleurs-de-lis between each arm, at the center an oval panel edged in blue, inscribed in gold letters "LUD. M. INST. 1698."
