Label TextThis Grand Piano, 1895-1905, is a model produced by Kranich and Bach. Kranich and Bach was an American piano maker established in 1864 and known worldwide for their high-quality pianos. Kranich and Bach displayed their pianos at American World’s Fairs big and small, and in a 1912 catalogue, proudly state that they were awarded the First Award and Diploma of Merit at Philadelphia in 1876 and a First Premium award at Chicago in 1893. Advertising these awards helped prove the quality and popularity of their product and possibly influenced the purchasing of this piano.
