Label TextReceiving her MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1978, Gibbs soon joined the art faculty at Iowa State where she is an associate professor of art and design. Her long time image has been the horse and reflects her esteem for the noble, classical and romantic qualities of the horse.
