Label TextIn this lithograph three men work with a threshing machine from the 1930s. Threshing dinners were often held in rural areas to facilitate an efficient turnover of crops. Groups of men and threshing equipment moved from farm to farm harvesting the crops, while the wives were responsible for providing a home-cooked meal to the workers.
