Label TextAirplanes and people are depicted in front of a New York City skyline. Taskey's use of contrast in the buildings, such as the Chrysler Building, increases the drama in this lithograph. The cropping of the buildings antenna helps compositionally--if the entire building were to be included in the image, the center of interest would make the lithograph bottom heavy.
