Label TextOriginally called "Pioneer" pattern, collectors now call it "Westward Ho." Frosted patterns in pressed glass, like this one, were popular from mid-1870s - 1880s. According to Ruth Webb, in the mid to late 1930s it was one the 10 most popular patterns among collectors. Within 10 to 12 years, it was difficult to find examples.
