Label TextThis clear blown pitcher is an example of crystal clear glass. The circular indention on the side of the bowl can be interpreted as a thumbprint mark. Thumbprints have been set into goblets and other liquid holding vessels in the past to help get a firm hold on the glass. It may have been place on this pitcher, not as a useful asset, but as a historical reference.
