Label TextPaul Marioni earned a B.A. in English and Philosophy from the University of Cincinnati, OH, in 1967. A renowned glass artist and lifelong teacher Marioni first came to Pilchuck Glass School in Stanwood, Washington in 1974 as an instructor. He has remained a significant force in the school's development and success. His work has been exhibited globally and is included in several prominent museum collections including The Museum of Glass, Seattle; Corning Glass Museum, New York; Oakland Art Museum, California; the Verein Steinsches Glaskunstmuseum, Austria; and the Yamaha Corporation Collection, Tokyo, Japan.
