Label TextBas relief portrait of first principal of Theodore Roosevelt High School, Des Moines, Iowa who died in 1934 of pneumonia. Cast by Gorham Co. Bronze Division. Unveiled April 17, 1935 at Roosevelt High School. The plaque was purchased with funds raised by students and faculty.
