Fedor (Feodor) RuckertGerman - Russian, 1840 - 1917
German born Moscovite "Active from about 1890 until Revolution, highly original enameler of exceptional quality who sold the greater part of his production at Faberge's, direct to customers and through dealers. His style is highly individual and often influenced by Art Nouveau. A typical feature of Ruckert pieces was that after enamelling he very often heavily gilded or silvered again the exposed metal of the cloissons." Von Solodkoff, Alexander
