John Beckelman(American, b. 1949)
John Beckelman, born February 13, 1949 in Orange, New Jersey, is known for his clay vessels and paintings. He has had exhibits in California, New York, Massachusetts, Montana, Iowa, New Jersey and other states across the country. Beckelman received his Master of Fine Arts in Ceramics and his Master of Science in Ceramics at Illinois State University and is currently chair of the Art Department at Coe College in Iowa.
