Kasamatsu Shiro

Started art studies at a young age, becoming a student of Kaburagi Kiyokata in 1911. Kasamatsu studied Japanese style painting but concentrated on landscapes. He worked with Watanabe Shozaburo from 1919 through the 1930s. After WWII he stopped working with Shozaburo and in the 1950s established himself with his own designs and prints. He died in 1991.
