Franz Ferdinand Mayer
Mayer worked in the Meissen factory about 1745-1770. A hausmaler who did much painting on "old" Meissen ware, with acanthus leaves and raised plum blossom ware, among other available ware from Meissen. His work is very similar to F. J. Ferner's work-pastorals, hunting and genre scenes. He is especially known for his own style of flower painting.
