Fred Easker

Fred Easker was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1944. After his B.A. from the U of I, he taught art at Linn-Mar Community Schools for seven years and then worked closely with the Cedar Rapids Art Center, acting as Assistant Director and then Acting Director. Easker then went back to U of I and got his M.A. and then student taught at U of I from 1988-1989. Easker was then a conservation technician for the Fine Arts Conservation Services from 1995-1999. He has had six publications from 1996-1999.
