Tom Rosborough
Tom Rosborough is an interdisciplinary artist specializing in illustration and public art. Born in 1951, he was educated at the University of Chicago Academy of Art. He is an illustrator and graphic designer whose art has appeared in publications including the Minnesota Medicine Journal, and Chicago Tribune Magazine.
"My collaborative experience with other artists, design professionals and clients has provided me with opportunities to approach my work each time with a differenct perspective. Their knowledge and history in my mind, is a challenge to convey merging thoughts in a visible way. This, along with a fascination and facility with a wide variety of traditional and technical materials has allowed me to navigate a variety of interesting paths. At the convergence of art, design and craft my artistic development over many years has not progressed in a straight line with one specific medium, genre or style. I am stimulated by the art I see around me and enjoy the challenge and diversity to create work to fit a theme, an environment or an emotion. I am an interdisciplinary artist specializing in illustration and public art." - Tom Rosborough
