Lynn Basa

Lynn Basa is a full-time artist living Chicago where she divides her practice between painting and public art commissions. Revealing the qualities of the materials is fundamental to all of her work whether it’s beeswax, glass, mosaic, or terrazzo. Her work is in numerous public, private, and corporate collections including the Museum of Arts and Design, New York, North Carolina State University Museum, Rhode Island School of Design Museum, Spencer Museum, University of Kansas. She is on the faculty of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
