Edward HaldSwedish, 1883 - 1980
Edward Hald was a Swedish sculptor. His work was part of the art competitions at the 1932 Summer Olympics and the 1936 Summer Olympics.
He was a glass maker and designer, and trained as architect and painter. He worked with Johan Rohde in Copenhagen, then briefly at Rörstrand, before his loong assicioation with Orrefors, where he worked from 1917-78. He worked in the Graal technique throughout his career, as well as creating engraved glass pieces.
