Mikail Grachev
In Saint Petersburg, Grachev, founded by Gavriil Petrovich Grachev (c. 1830-1873) in 1866, was celebrated for its work in a variety of styles including neo-baroque, neoclassical, and art nouveau, as well as the production of sculpture in silver electroplate. After receiving the imperial warrant in 1896, Grachev Brothers, as the firm was known after several sons (there were eight in all) succeeded their late father in 1873, continued to produce fine work in gold, silver, and enamel until 1917.
