Kathryn Reeves

Kathryn Reeves is a Professor of Art in the Department of Art and Design in the Patti and Rusty Rueff School of Visual and Performing Arts at Purdue University. Reeves works with print and digital media, virtual assemblage and installation. She studied at Miami University of Ohio, Harvard University, and Drake University. She has exhibited in Australia, Canada, Germany, India, Italy, Malaysia, New Zealand, Poland, South Africa, Taiwan, Turkey, United Kingdom, and United States, receiving numerous awards for her work. Reeves’ essays on print theory are in Contemporary Impressions: Journal of the American Print Alliance, Relativities: 4th British International Miniature Print Exhibition catalogue, Lessedra International Bulgaria catalogue, and Chop Magazine, Malaspina Printmakers Canada. She has lectured on print/digital theory in the US, UK, Italy, Finland, South Africa and Poland. Reeves also curates/juries exhibitions such as Contemporary Scottish Printmakers; Photography: A Moment in Time; Lessedra International Bulgaria; INKLANDIA an international print exhibition; Global Matrix; and 2nd Loyola Biennial.
