Carlo RomanelliItalian-American, 1872 - 1947
Born in Florence, Italy in 1872 and came to the USA in 1902. He studied sculpture in Italy and Paris. He had studios in Florence, Italy and in Chicago, Illlinois. He went to Los Angeles in 1914 to do sculpture for the zoological gareens planned by a movie magnate, Selig, and remained in Los Angeles until 1932.
