Label TextWhen he was 18, Urushibara was hired along with a group of other Japanese craftsmen to demonstrate woodblock printmaking in London. He remianed in London until World War II, making prints of his own design and from the designs of other artists, including Frank Brangwyn. He also trained many artists in the techniques of traditional Japanese color woodcut printmaking.
