Label TextThe Darling etching Honkers (cat. #33) was the source of this image, which must have been copied onto an acetate plate. The resulting print, like Darling’s own tracing of Honkers (cat. #75), is reversed. The present print is smaller than Honkers, and although the geese are about the same, they are brought closer together. This impression is printed in umber ink on a tan laid paper.
