Label TextWentworth was on the Iowa State College faculty from 1907 to 1913; professor of Animal Breeding, Kansas State Agricultural College. He was a graduate of ISC 1907 and 1909. He was on "Bomb" and "agricultural" staff. He wrote "America's Sheep Trails" in 1907. He helped raised funds for the Sigma Alpha Epsilon House in Ames. He was instrumental in obtaining portraits of prominent ISC faculty. He served as the president of the ISC Alumni Association, and helped to develop the Chicago Alumni group into the most active in the nation in the 1930s and 1940s. Wentworth was director of Armour's Livestock Bureau, in Chicago. He sponsored or paid for portraits of faculty at ISC. He received an honorary doctorate degree of Agriculture from ISC. He served on the Alumni Association portrait committee in the 1940s with other members including: Mabel Fisher, chair; S.D. Phillips; W.E. Barron; and J.C. Schilletter.
