Label TextRhythm Grid and Unsettled Rhythms, both sculptures by David Luck, were created for the Horticulture Hall as an Iowa Art in State Buildings Program project. They were commissioned after the building was completed. The wall hangings are made of sheet copper, brass, nickel silver, and other metals. Each square has a different design with the overall theme based on horticulture. Some of the motifs include a lotus seed, grapes, weeds, and linden, oak and maple leaves.
