Label TextLouis Lozowick (born in Russia, 1892-1973) immigrated to the United States at the age of fourteen. Inspired by rising skyscrapers and American factories, Louis Lozowick created bold works of art that celebrated the geometry and clean lines of modern industrial forms. Like his contemporaries Charles Demuth and Charles Sheeler, Louis Lozowick took part in the American art movement known as precisionism.
