Label TextIn this lithograph, Good chooses to illustrate the surplus and remaining Victorian aesthetic treatments still practiced by some artists during the Depression. A tiger lily arrangement in an urn and a seashell rest on a dark fabric. The dark background gives the illusion of continuing fabric and contrasts with the floral focal point. The flowers, leaves, and the fallen flower petal are all similar in shape to the shell, thus complementing each other.
