Label TextA multitude of crops including hay, corn, and fruit-baring trees can be seen growing along the Hudson River. The Hudson River School, established in the 19th century, produced many romanticized renditions of the scenic river area. Blanch reflects upon these earlier visions of the fertile valley in Along the Hudson.
Blanch was born in Minnesota, attended the Minnesota School of Art and the Art Students League of New York. He eventually settled down in Woodstock, New York.
