Label TextGraduating from Miami University in 1975, he joined the art faculty at Grinnel College in 1976, and is currently chair. McKibbin is one of Iowa's leading artists. Pastel drawing is McKibbin's usual medium, however, as this print illustrates, the flavor of pastel drawing transfers to the lithographic method. This print was created during an artist-in-residency at Iowa State's art and design department in 1987, with the artist inscribing the print to the "Brunnier Gallery and Museum Impression."
