John Steuart CurryAmerican, 1897 - 1946
Curry was born in Kansas (November 14, 1897) and began his studies at the Art Institute of Kansas. He subsequently attended the Art Institute of Chicago, Geneve College, and the Studio of Schoukhaieff in Paris. Curry taught at the University of Wisconsin, Cooper Union, and at the Art Students League.
Died August 29, 1946 in Madison, Wisconsin.
