Carol Prusa

Born in 1956, in Chicago, Illinois, Carol Prusa received a degree in medical illustration from the University of Illinois. She went on and obtained a MFA in painting from Drake University. Upon graduation in 1986, she took a job as a temporary assistant and professor teaching art at Iowa State University and later obtained an adjunct position. After 12 years at ISU, her contract was not renewed so she took a tenure-track position at Florida Atlantic University in the fall of 1999. Carol currently works in painting, performance, video, and installation.
