Otto Seitz
Seitz, Otto (b. September 3 1846 in Munich , d. March 13 1912 ) was a German painter.
As a high school teacher at the Munich art academy , he impressed with his teaching many famous artists. Professor Otto Seitz was on the Old South Cemetery buried in Munich.
Many of his paintings depict people, landscapes and floral still life dar. in works with titles such as "drinkers and brawlers in a farmer's tavern", "Old farmer at the table with a beer bottle" or "street musicians in the backyard," he thinks people and situations of everyday life in the image. Some of his famous works are small, sometimes even in miniature, so for example, "Faun and Nymph" (oil on wood) the dimensions of 9 cm x 8 cm and the "Landscapes" (watercolor / pencil on wood) only has side dimensions of approximately 2 cm.
