Arnold BlanchAmerican, 1896-1968

Blanch was born in Mantorville,Minnesota in 1896, attended the Minnesota School of Art and then went on to the Art Students League of New York City. Eventually he settled in Woodstock, New York where he died in 1968.

Mediums he is known for are fresco, gouache, oil, tempera and printmaking.

Taught by John Sloan, Kenneth Hayes Miller, and Robert Henri.

Styles the Blach used were abstractism and surrealism.
