Label TextLouis Comfort Tiffany (1848-1933) was a leader during the Art Nouveau movement at the turn of the century. Working at the same time as great architects such as Louis Sullivan and Henry Richardson, Tiffany tended to concentrate more on interior aspects of Art Nouveau. He designed many flower form vases and objects such as this one, and was a pioneer in the use of iridescent glass. Autumnal colors remained the most popular of any of the colors created by Tiffany and his company.
