Label TextThis work of art represents play and movement. Coyote is named after a boat owned by a friend of the artist. The boat was lost at sea on its way to France to participate in a solo round-the-world trip. The artist believes this sculpture has strong ocean wave imagery along with the gale winds that are often present over the ocean. The kinetic movements are also reminiscent of the sea and sails.
