Label TextJ.C. Cunningham was on the Iowa State faculty, and he also enjoyed the literary arts. He wrote the poem text that appears in Christian Petersen's first commission project (1934-35) for the Dairy Industry Building. Cummingham's text is inscribed on the two, interior plaster murals, titled "4000 Yeers" and "For Milke and Cheeese".
