Label TextF.C. Hubbell (1864-1947), a prominent Des Moines businessman, was the oldest child of Frederick Marion (F.M.) and Frances Cooper Hubbell. He was also father to Frederick Windsor (F.W.) Hubbell. F.C. was active in railroad businesses, serving as president of the Des Moines Terminal Company and the Des Moines Union Railway Company. He was a trustee for the F.M. Hubbell Estate (1903-1947) and president of the Equitable Life Insurance Company of Iowa (1919-1921).
