Not on viewLabel TextThe two bobwhites on this plate are clearly related to three similar plates, but the spacing of the birds is slightly different. This drypoint was made on the back of a copper plate that had previously been used for another print, and was cut in half. No contemporary impression is known, and the plate was printed in 1983 to document the artwork. The burr of the drypoint is very strong, suggesting that few prints were ever made from the plate.
