Label TextGrandson of Frederick Marion (F.M.) Hubbell F.W. (1891–1959) graduated from Harvard in 1913 and joined Equitable Life, the company his grandfather had helped found. He served in the army during World War I, then returned to Equitable and rose through the ranks until he was named company president in 1939. F. W. led the company for 20 years.
