Label TextA.J. Graves was the College Farm Manager at Iowa Agricultural College and Model Farm (now ISU) from 1864 to 1868 and resided at the Farm House with his family during those years. When Mr. Graves left the Farm House, he purchased his own farm just south of the college and also established a bank in Ames, Iowa. This drawing was done when he was treasurer of the bank.
